GF01 - Nilsson Schmilsson

Stepping out of my comfort zone with an ongoing series of 12” mono prints inspired by albums called GUT FEELINGS. It’s all colours and shapes and feelings and accepting imperfections and the thrill of that single surprising pull. I made this one while listening to Nilsson Schmilsson (1970) by Harry Nilsson. A new album for me, recommended by my husband Tim. It’s an album that’s sunny on the surface, but there’s a darkness in every corner that I like. The album feels like it’s happening in that sweet spot between very late at night and very early in the morning. Without You hits so hard. Good album.
